Ratnagar Lights up NL Complex

Tussle Invaders batted first and scored 221 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs, at a run rate of 11.05.

Saboo (wk) retired hurt after scoring 47 runs off 35 deliveries with 7 fours and 1 six. Ratnagar was the highest scorer for the team, scoring 72 runs off just 27 deliveries with 9 fours and 5 sixes. Paresh Katkar also played a quick innings of 41 runs off 20 deliveries with 8 fours and 1 six.

Tarun Ramchandani was the pick of the bowlers for the opposition, taking 4 wickets for 25 runs in 4 overs. Arun Upadhyay and Manish also picked up 1 wicket each.

The Thunderbolts got off to a good start, thanks to an explosive knock from their batsman Kamlesh, who scored a quickfire 50 off just 26 balls. He hit nine fours and one six and provided the perfect platform for his team to launch a massive assault on the NL Complex bowlers.

However, after Kamlesh’s dismissal, the Thunderbolts lost wickets at regular intervals,  Soham, Bhalchandra Jadhav, and skipper Arun Upadhyay contributed with some useful runs, but it was Saumil Patel who provided the much-needed impetus to the innings with a well-crafted 31 off 20 balls but they fell short of the target. Ratnagar for his 72 from 27 Ball was adjuged Man of the Match
