Shreyas Keeps the Eagle Flag High

The ongoing 4 teams tournament between Hawks, Ravens, Falcons, and Eagle had a match between Eagles and Hawks. The match was played at the national wicket and turned out to be a low-scoring encounter. Eagles won the toss and elected to field, which proved to be a smart decision as their bowlers Pratyay and Nihal wreaked havoc on the Hawks’ batting lineup. Later, Shreyas finished up the Hawks by taking 3 wickets in just 1 over. The only saving grace for Hawks was Preet Singh, who scored 46 runs from 43 deliveries but was left without any partners. He missed out on a deserving half-century.

Eagles, on the other hand, started very well with a good partnership between Devendra and Lalit Salvi. Later, a flurry of wickets could see Hawks come back into the game, but Pradeep Dubey put a full stop to it by scoring 21 runs from just 8 deliveries and shutting down the game. The man of the match was Shreyas for his outstanding spell with the ball.

This match showed that Eagles are a force to be reckoned with, and they have given a warning to the rest of the teams in the tournament. It will be interesting to see how the other teams respond to this challenge in the upcoming matches.
