The first match of the Mauka Tussle T20 Season 2 tournament between Dark Knight and Black Knight was an absolute firecracker, and it had all the ingredients of a perfect T20 match. Black Knight won the toss and elected to field first.

The Dark Knight started the match in not a brilliant manner, with their openers getting out quickly.  Bright continued to bowl exceptionally well, taking three wickets and ending up as the best bowler for Black Knight.

But, Abbas Khan had other plans for Black Knight. He came to the rescue of his team, playing an incredible innings of 93 from just 54 balls. Abbas was well supported by his teammates, he was also helped with 32 wides from the bowling side. However, the inning was marked with a controversy when Dark Knight’s marquee player Prashant Nikam got into a fight with Bright from Black Knight.

In reply, the Dark Knight bowled superbly, and a controversial run-out of Shikhar turned the tide in their favor. From there, only the supersub Vishrant fought alone for Black Knight. Shehbaaz, who had kept his fasting, fought till the end, scoring 18 in 12 balls but could not save his team’s net run rate.

Ultimately, Dark Knight emerged victorious, winning the match by a margin of 27 runs. Abbas Khan was declared the man of the match for his defiant innings that saved Dark Knight from a complete collapse. It was a thrilling start to the Mauka Tussle T20 Season 2 tournament, and fans can expect more such exciting matches in the days to come.
